It was early April and the Blazing suns met at the Chief’s Tee Pee, Laughing and Flying Fox.  As the carnage of past Spring Outing Raft Races lay rotting in the backyard, the Blazing Suns got down to business with 12 beats of the tom tom and an opening prayer by Laughing Fox.  We performed the unbroken circle and recited the tribe aims and pledge.

Some of the braves earned Wampum including; Little Thunderbird, Silver Hawk, Puppy Drum, Brave Bunny, Flying Fox, and Running Dingo.

Tallykeeper’s Report:  November 7, 2010 – 2nd Pow Wow

In the waning days of September, the “insert tribe name” tribe (or tribe G38) had their first gathering at the ole bowlin’ longhouse for a game of 10 pins. Everyone earned their first red bead.

The weather shaman had predicted big thunder so Chief Laughing Fox decided that all braves should be indoors.

We put on slippy moccasins and after a few gutterballs and some near hits the big braves let the little braves have a turn.

The little braves dined on exploded maize and climbed the walls, literally.  A great time was had by all.
